Who has time to worry about some stupid Halloween costume? If you ask me, a Halloween t-shirt beats the idea of toiling away and getting dressed up for what is, essentially, a children's holiday. No, thank you. Just because I don't want to get dressed up like Batman, or whatever, doesn't mean I don't want to get drunk. If you are resistant to the idea of a Halloween t-shirt, here are a few other options.
One idea is to dress up as a hobo. This is a pretty cheap and easy option, because all you need are some old clothes and some fireplace ash for your cheeks and forehead. This might be easy, but you shouldn't overdo it. If people think you're a real hobo, you may get spare change and asked to leave the party. You'd never get asked to leave if you were wearing a Halloween t-shirt.
Another great option is to dress as a bag of trash. Get yourself a sturdy lawn and leaf, black garbage bag. Cut holes for your head and arms, and then shove some waded tissue around your ears and neck. Presto, you're a bag of trash. Cost of costume estimated at around 23 cents, maybe. Being a bag of trash may get you some laughs, but you're not likely to pick up the chicks. Chicks are much more attracted to Halloween t-shirts.
You could probably get away with not wearing anything but your normal clothes. When people ask you what you're going as, you can just tell them that you're dressed as Apathy or even Procrastination. Either one of those ideas could possibly get you branded as a jerk, though, and no one will want to talk to you. Plenty of people will want to talk to you about your Halloween t-shirt, though.
